Vennola Magnola Glasgow (née Walters born 5th May, 1989) is a Vincentian Singer, Songwriter, Radio Broadcaster and Teacher. She released her first single called P.E.A.C.E in September 2010. She hosts a morning radio program Monday to Friday at 5:00am on Chronicles Christian Radio called 'Rise Up with Vennola'.
Early Life & Background
Vennola was born Vennola Magnola Walters, on Friday 5th May, 1989, at the Kingstown General Hospital in St Vincent and the Grenadines to her parents; Venol and Lecita Walters. Biblical teachings and values were instilled in her and this led to her accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as her saviour and being baptized at the age of 7 years old.
She grew up in the country side of the island of St Vincent with her parents and two (2) brothers .
Family Life
Vennola is married to her wonderful husband. There marriage union has produced three (3) wonderful children.
Education
Vennola received her Primary Education at the Union Methodist School, also called the New Grounds Primary School from 1994 to 2000.
Her Secondary Education was obtained at the St Vincent Girls High School (2000 to 2005) where she gained passes in nine (9) Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate CSEC Subjects; namely Mathematics, English Language, English Literature, History, Spanish, Information Technology, Biology, Physics and Chemistry.
Vennola attained her Tertiary Level Education at the St Vincent and the Grenadines Community College (2005 to 2009) where she pursued studies at the Division of Arts and General Studies focusing on Maths, Physics and Information Technology. Then, at the Teaching Division, pursuing a diploma in the Teaching of Mathematics and Science.
Teaching Career
Vennola entered the noble profession of teaching in the year 2007.
She was appointed by the Government of St Vincent and the Grenadines - Ministry of Education to teach at the Secondary School Level.
She served her country by teaching at the North Union Secondary School from September 2007 to November 2021. During her time at this institution she taught students at the five (5) grade levels, Grade 7 to Grade 11 (Form 1 to Form 5), in the following subject areas; Mathematics, Integrated Science, Home Economics (Family Resource Management, Fashion Textile Clothing & Food Nutrition & Health) and Music.
Music
Vennola has written songs to glorify her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, but to date, only one has been recorded and released.
Her first recorded single called P.E.A.C.E - Precious Enlightment Amidst Chaotic Environments was released on 21 September 2010[1]

As a result, of this early exposure to radio and radio broadcasting, Vennola continues to be involved in media productions.
