What time is it in your life? Are you making the progress that God intends? Are you being obedient to the call of God on your life? Are you worried about the situations that surround you? Is it time for you to cross over?

To cross over means to move from one place, through a medium to another place.
For different persons, this will have various meanings and you must know what God is saying to you.
In the bible, the story of Moses and Joshua as the leaders of Israel, gives us some practical life lessons.
Use your bible and read Deuteronomy 34 and Joshua 1.

Moses led the children of Israel out of Egypt from under the bondage of Pharaoh. He led them through the wilderness, 40 years .
Through the leadership of Moses, the Israelites saw the wonders of God.  They knew that God was with Moses.
However,  the time came when the people of Israel had to cross the Jordan River.

Some things we can take note of are:
        >> The people had to be willing to move on.
        >> They had to embrace a new leadership.
            >> They had to be obedient to their leader to receive the blessing (that is enter the promise land).
        >> The people had to continually keep the ordinances of God for the presence of God to be with them.
        >> As a leader, Joshua had to be strong in the Lord and very courageous.
        >> As followers, the children of Israel were to be obedient.

There are much more we can gather from this passage, so let us take a look at us living in the 21st century.
There are many things happening around us, individuals are turning away from the spoken word of God, the Holy Bible, and living their lives subjected to their own will.

Joshua 1:8 says This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Its therefore time to cross over from the lust of this world to the kingdom of God.
And be transformed in the renewing of our minds in order to fully live the life God has called us to live.
